Probably on AW's website. Should be a video of Leseberg flying one.

Default Aeroworks 260 vs. H9 260

I've seen that one thanks.
Just wondering if there's anything newer out there, or some opinions on elevators/harriers and stuff.

Take care
Bob

I've got great news for you Bob. To start out yes I have flown both AW 260 and the H9 260.
The both upright and inverted harrier with no wing rock! I don't think you will be upset with either.
IMO the Aeroworks 100cc Extra 300 flies better than either of the these 260's. The increased side area really makes for a great flyer.

Thanks

Any real world numbers for flying weight on the AW 260?

If you're a heavy builder they will be 28+. Use basic equipment and a light battery setup and stock mufflers and they will be in the 27 pound range or better. I went extreme with full carbon and some lightening mods and was around the 25.6-7 pound range.
Regardless, it is an awesome flyer and is at home in the harrier/elevator/parachute world.

Bob,
Its been a long time since I had an AW 260. I really can't recall how much it weighed. If you keep all your equipment selection to the bare essentials I'm pretty sure you can get the weight around 28 pounds. If your running stock mufflers cut out the pipe tunnel. There are a few other places to chop the weight out. Water bottle tank, CF Gear, CF Spinner, etc.etc.
I have the 100cc Edge now at 27 1/2 pounds with a smoke system. Nothing extreme just what I listed above.

Hey Bob,

I think you will really like your AW 260. It is very stable in high alpha and is extremely precise. I have one and it is now 4 years old with over 400 flights on it! My son Jase is now flying it in IMAC. Here's a video of Jase flying "His" AW 260.

I have never actually weighed it but if you like I can, and give you a list of the components used

Thanks for the video.
I'll just continue to set mine up and let you know what it weighs.

Take care
