the title says it all. Ive wanted to get a 110" extremeFlight Yak since i first saw them, but
im worried that it wont fit in my jeep, and i just cant afford a bigger vehicle or a trailer. so is there anyone out there in FG land that has tried to squeeze one of these monsters in a jeep cherokee yet? My 35% H-9 260 fits, but i have to remove the spinner to close the liftgate. HELP, I WANT THIS PLANE!!!

prob not! This bird is much bigger than the H9! it is also nearly double the hight off the floor and as long as some 40% birds.

I have an 03 Explorer and my 110 Yak just fits with the stabs off and the rudder and spinner on. The length is okay for my Explorer, but the height is the real issue. The rudder is too tall for the tail wheel to sit on the console between the front seats. I can open the sun roof and then it fits... But that isn't really an option... I have to put the tail wheel off to the passenger side of the console, but then the rudder blocks access to that side's mirror...
It's a great plane, and if you get one you'll find a way to make it fit... |

I'd say no! You need to find some one flying one and ask if you can see if it will fit. They are some birds on stilts.

I shoe-horned a 40% Carden Edge into an '07 Grand Cherokee rental. The rudder was againts the dash and the prop and spinner had to hang out of the rear hatchglass (hatch shut, but the glass window had to be opened). I had to remove the tail wheel to allow for the tail of the fuse to sit on the console. Stabs were obviously removed.

I do have to remove the stabs on my 260 to make it fit, butthe rudder touches the dash and I've got about 3 inches from the front of the plane to the liftgate when it's closed. I didn't think about the height issue, that could be a real problem! How much trouble is it to pull the rudder on a 110"?
