----DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR PARKZONE T-28 TO THE FFT----

While we don't expect or intend to attempt to outdo "Operation Trojan Overcast" from Joe Nall, we WILL be organizing the second wave "OTO 2" during the event. Our local crowd has flown more than 20 together so I can forsee 30-40 in this wave. I guarantee big fun and tons of laughs!

And, if you're daring enough, we'll also have some T-28 (and other similar electric aircraft), full-contact combat during the weekend. It's always a "knee-slapper"!

I just got in from the field guys. Things are looking GREAT! The first wave of mowing was done today to all the surrounding fields and parking areas, with a second pass coming in a few days.
Tested out my candy dropper. That went great as well. Its amaze'n what 2 1/2 lbs of candy will do to the flying charactoristics of a 10 lb model! lol Especially with a big sqare box on the bottom.
There was ton of folks flying right up until dark. Here's a few shots from this evening. As you can see,,,we had quite a few sweet tooths present there tonight!
This event is really shaping up to be the best ever! Cant wait to see you all there!

What are the general hours of the event and such. I could not find specifics on the website.

Airborne, From sundown to 9 am electrics and from 9 am to sundown fly anything, noon time demos should take 1 - 2 hours with the candy drop for the kids at the end. Other than that Fly, Fly, and Fly.

Hey guys,

Sounds like this is going to be a lot of fun. Looking forward to hanging out with everyone.

John Bradley and I will be flying in with the Cherokee 140 on Thursday night or Friday morning. We'll be the ones doing the low fly-by with the tape over the N number.

Best Wishes,
JN

Sweet! I might not make it out until Saturday evening. Still no word from big Army about anything being out there. I know there will be USAREC out at the Winston airshow this weekend though. If anything I will have to bug big Army about it earlier next year I mean we went out to airshows in Miami and even events much smaller than this.

Jason, just circle the field and we'll clear the runway for your zero-point rolling pass.....yep, tape on the registration number is good. Is John going to have a big Georgia banner behind the Cherokee? We look forward to having you and "King" with us!

Airborne, get here as early as you can because it's going to be an amazing weekend. And we'll plan much earlier for a military presence in the future. Thanks!

Don't worry, we have a long standing tradition of "seeing nothing".....
