You will probably have to replace the top gear, you might be able to use a dremel tool to cut them off. You might call Horizon and ask for suggestions. I am sure your friend ment well but RED Loctite ? Blue maybe! Good luck You might also try to drill the head of the screw off, then remove the arm and see if you can get a better grip on the screw shaft, but be careful not to damage the servo. The top gear costs less than a replacement servo or a crashed plane.

Try taking a 40 watt (normal soldering iron) and putting it on the head of the bolt. Let it heat up for a 30 seconds or so and try to turn it. If it doesn't move try it again leaving the iron on longer. The heat should loosen up the locktite.
Just an FYI I use lock washers and socket head bolts. I don't use locktite at all and I've never lost a servo screw.
Good luck

Red Locktite is going to take an oxy/acet rig to loosen. Using much heat isn't going to loosen the arm, it might transfer enough heat to do bad things. Might as well cut 'em and order new top gears.
