Ground testing my new 50% cub in preparation for maiden flight
lost all communication to plane. After checking radio batteries etc. I put a voltmeter on output leads from regulator to find that only 2.25 volts was coming in to power expander. What happened and why. More alarming is both leads read the same why no redundancy? This is a brand new super regulator. Lucky Bob |

Hi Bob,
The SuperReg is not a redundant regulator, it supports redundant batteries but it has only one regulator. I am not sure why you are getting 2.25V. Also, if this is really a SuperReg and not a TurboReg you should not be using it on a 50% cub. I will not know what is wrong until I see the regulator. Can you send it back to our Tempe address? I will address it right away.
