Default What pattern plane is it?

It's a long story so I'll cut to the case, I bought this plane 18 years ago, but, I'm just now learning how to fly RC. Anyway I thnk this is a Trion although it's painted like a tipo....ssomething or other.
Can someone tell me what it is for sure AND how fare back on the wing the C of G would be.

Well I hope there is an attachment, I tried to Insert ,but on go

Scroll down about half way for pictures of the Trion: http://www.trentonrcflyers.com/pattern/patternt.htm

As for the CG, you should start around 25% to 30% of the Mean Aerodynamic Chord and tweak it to your liking. Since the wing has a swept leading and trailing edge I wouldn't dare give you a location without calculating the MAC. Here is a decent JAVA program to find the CG: http://www.nasascale.org/howtos/cg-calculator.htm

One more option (and I don't know if this link will be allowed here) is to post a request on the Classic Pattern forum at RCU: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/foru...smode_1/tt.htm I can guarantee somebody there has flown the plane and will know any info you need.

WOW, some really cool old pattern planes on those pages. Brings back lots of memories. I still have a Curare I fly about once a summer just for old time sake, love those planes.
