Default AM 30% 260 electric!!

First flight on the new Extra 260 went great. Looks like Sammy has done it again and Jeff nailed the power system as usual. The plane is super stable and flys super strait as an arrow. Jeff plans on using it for IMAC this year. We shot some video too http://www.e-flightline.com/movies/A...%205-21-06.wmv Its not the most impresive flying ive ever done but im always consevative with E-flightline's planes. Not to mention ive only been flying a few years so go easy on me. Hope you guys enjoy it anyway. I dont know all the specs on the power system but if anyone is interested im sure Jeff will jump in to answer any questions you may have.

16.4 pounds is friggin awesome!!!!! Thing must fly darn near like a foamie. If I had the dough, I'd do a 30% electric. What do you have invested in the powerplant?

Good evening Gremlin,

The battery packs cost $375 for each 6s pack and we put two in series for 12S. The motor and gearbox are $499 and the speed controller is $209. Not cheap I know but it is a very very nice electric that will last a ver long time.
