(He told me he still has the airplane, it was repaired and flown again I believe. Is it hanging in the garage or someplace Rich?)

Jeeeeez man, where'd ya dig up that old pic?! Yeah, I still have it. It's leaning up against the wall right in front of me. If you remember, that was my dad's first and only plane. He built it and took it to a parking lot to fly it (by himself). Crashed it on it's maiden (blamed it on windshear). So he rebuilt it and that's when you and I showed up and talked him into letting us take it for a spin. Instead of spin, though,...it did a wrap right around a telephone pole on the second flight of the day because if memory serves,...someone who shall remain nameless (YOU) did a dead stick landing into a cut corn field. We looked the plane over and didn't see any damage...all the control surfaces worked. So we fired it back up, adjusted the carb. so it wouldn't die again (It was cold that day), and you took back off again not knowing that the servo tray for the ailerons had just let go. Ya tried to bank left, it turned right...right into that pole! Man, you may not know this, but dad was p*ssed for a week and laid the blame directly upon MY shoulders even though I hadn't touched a stick. And THAT"S when I got hooked on RC. That old plane has taken a beating but she's still in pretty decent shape but she needs to be recovered. I started to strip the old yellow stuff but never finished. Thinking about doin' it up real nice as an electric and giving it back to dad! Wanna help?
