Default A123 Voltage Differential Question

I made up 3 A123 packs from a dewalt battery last year. I still have a problem with two packs. After repeated cycles, the packs still do not balance out. One cell is 3.4 the other 3.6. This is for both packs. I've tried running down the batteries with a 2A load and still get these numbers. Is there anyting else I can try? I'm using the FMA multi 4 and also have a Hyperion eos 0610I.

Try charging the individual low cell. The new multi four has an option to charge one cell. Otherwise, I use a special charger when I encounter these problems. A balancer will not do it, you must PUSH voltage to the low cell.

MIne were doing the same thing so I installed a balance cord and balanced when I charged and now the voltage is within a tenth.I used an acucell 6.

I use an old 1100ma ,4.8 volt NIMH pack to breath life into a single A123 - -safe -and it works - If all you get is heat and no voltage rise - likely the batt has gone to that great recycling shop in the sky--
