The left wing got damage in a ground accident while landing, and was replaced with a Comp-Arf wing (same thing. . different label) and painted to match the plane. There's some hangar rash, but what do you expect from a 6-7 year old airrframe? It's been flown since the repairsof wing and flew well, but it's a fast plane. . I'm getting too old to keep up. .

The plane is out in storage right now. .I'd have to go out. . in the rain. . in the dark. . and put it together for more pics. . . .

Who's the gay guy in the picture Chris?? I saw you posted something about gas being pricey. Have you looked at the pump yet? Are you still paying 4.50 a gallon or something? I bought gas yesterday for 2.15.

At 9 miles to the gallon. . it gets pricey

I'm really disappointed about the chairs .. let me check with Good Will to see if I can find at least one replacement. . preferably in chartreuse velour. . . so all the "Gay guys" can have someplace comfortable to sit while all the Manly Men run around outside getting wet, sodden, cold, and miserable. . . .

Please note. . the "Gay guy" in the pic is dressed in a sleeveless workout shirt, shorts and tennis shoes with no socks . .the grass is brown . . there are no leaves on the trees .. . and the pic is dated 2-3-2003. . what season is it?

Yes, the chairs got a little soggy when the shack went under water.

I got some disappointing news today...
My son is in Cub Scouts, next year he goes to Boy Scouts...The same weekend as Huckfest, the cub scouts (and their dads) are supposed to go camping with the Boy Scouts.

That's not the painful part.... the campout is just down the road from GMA! I'll be able to hear the engine noise, maybe smell burnt fuel... but I'll be with a bunch of kids trying to start a fire with sticks or something.

Oh well...
