Default PAU Biplanes

I notice that there has not been any discussion about the 27% Pitts Bulldog or Pitts Challenger, that I have seen anyway. I thought this was kind of odd. What's the deal? How do they fly? They look like nice planes and they're reasonably priced. Is there a video of the Bulldog? Just curious.......

I guess I could have done a search . I just figured it would be with the rest of the PAU stuff if it was here. Sweet looking plane! I think I like the Bulldog better. The Challenger cowl makes it look like the plane is smiling at you, and not in a good way, kind of a creepy way. Thanks!

Once the video is up on the PAU site I'm sure some links will be placed here as well. I saw the production plane in the photos fly with both Ken and Astrohog on the sticks. It flew very well on the DA50

I guess the video footage that was taken didn't work out for some reason. I tried to get out to the field and fly last weekend, had the Bulldog all setup and charged, but I was having throttle linkage problems (my fault) and didn't want to fly it that way.

I am busy today, but I am hoping I can get out tomorrow and get some more time in on the Bulldog AND Sukhoi!

Well, I got some good stick time yesterday with the Bulldog! Nobody else at the field to take pics or video, but I still had a BLAST! I really started to feel comfortable witht he Bulldog and was having fun tumbling and knife-edging! Summer is coming to an end here in the NW and I am somewhat of a fair-weather flyer, so I am hoping for a few more good weekends of flying as I am really having fun with this plane!!

Regards,

Astrohog

Too bad you couldn't get any video, I'd really like to see that. I hear you about the good weather around here though. Unfortunately for me I seem to have very little time to fly during the summer. I usually have more free time during the colder months. I have been known to fly between rain showers or when the high for the day is in the 30's. The crazy thing is I'm almost never the only guy at the field on those days!
