I do have pics but again, not enough time. I will say this much, what a contest. High winds, low ceilings cold air, reminded me of the NATS, but going over the scores, it's easy to see what everyone had to do. I'll let John Banks post any results if he wishes, it was his contest. I left about a hour ago and had dinner and I'm using the wireless there. I was not around when the winners were announced as I was totalling the Freestyle scores. I can tell you this much, Neil Westdorp won the freestyle and Alex Davis pretty much destroyed his fathers Cap about 20 seconds into his freestyle. Cool thing was one of the judges gave him a 10 for presentation. Time to hit the road... I'll try to upload pics when I get home but if not, then tomorrow sometime....

Well I am back in one piece!
Great contest... after being there Thursday for some practice and flying 3 days I don't think I will think about my plane for about a week. With it being cold, rainy, and hard to see skies for a couple days the amount of focus required was a bit draining but had fun all the same. Thanks to all that made it happen, looking forward to next year.

congrats guys, im already looking forward to next years contests. frank, time to toss the basic sequence...mano y mano or maybe plastic vs. wood next year, i also downloaded the invitational unknowns from the tuscon shoot out for neil to fly in 2010 since he seems to be hording 1000's all weekend. have a safe winter and ill see you guys in the spring. jeff w

After three long days of getting blown away, rained on, and abused by some of my friends I was soooo ready to come home. But I have to admit I'm now missing it and feel like flying with you guys some more. Hopefully I'll run into some of you over the winter and look forward to seeing everyone next season. I had those same thoughts sitting in the traffic on 95 for a couple of hours, you know, sitting back and reflecting on things. John certainly threw down on this contest. I thought he could not improve on the Woodstock contest from last year but he did it with this one. We're not even going to discuss how he ended up in second in finals and third in the contest while flying in his own contest, hhhmmm maybe I should go back and audit the scores myself
