LOL! No problem Mr. Neil! You need to get yourself a Slick! Did you ever get a chance to fly mine? If not, definitely remind me at Salem and I will put it togethor!

Ha, I don't see a 40% Carden 260 Kit sitting on my porch just yet so you are staying right where you are

You won't find it sitting on your porch but you may have to go chase after one. I hope to be up there mid afternoon on Thursday. Looking forward to a great contest. Should I bring an Italian hero with me.

I forgot that you flew it at Woodstock.

The Dalton is doing really well. Getting used to it as Big Red is still down for repair, but it has been working out well for me. You'll have to take a flight on it at Salem Mr. Neil!

With this contest coming up, judging is more important than ever so I would like to one last time address the issue of sound and ACS.

Due to the fact that John is using the Alternate sequences tells me we need to be aware of both sound and ACS to a higher degree so I would like to ask that everyone go and read something Kurtis Waites wrote for IMAC and judging both sound and acs. It is how I've been doing it all year and I base my flying on it as well.

Thanks Bill for the concern! The fact of the matter is, we all need to be concerned about the sound footprint that we create. The field we are utlizing for the regionals is by far one of the nicest facilities in CT, and being a member of the club for over 20 years, I am always looking out for the best interests of the club. While it is possible to fly rollers at this field without issue, I thought that a: we would utilize the alternates for at least one contest this year! And b: with three days of flying, I thought 3 days of rollers, possibly resulting in over-flys might be a little much for the neighbors.

Unknowns may or may not have rollers! ; )

You are welcome John,

Unknowns with rollers, that would be a bit surprising considering what Wayne has been telling me all year long, but ya never know

Did you give any consideration to my suggestion about letting Basic do some sort of "inknown" like the ting Isabel started doing this year in Canada. I think they would like it a lot

Well, I didnt ask for unknowns without rollers... so, they may still be in there! ; )

I was thinking about that for Basic. Just as a for fun kinda thing. If time permits, I am pretty sure we are gonna do something along those lines!

John,

Just an FYI,

Stan has pre-registered, he is not included on the Score program I sent to you today so you will need to add him.

Yea, if time allows, I think the basic folks would really enjoy that.

I honestly did not know we could ask for unknowns that did not include specific maneuvers though I can see Wayne allowing for that with good reason if you explained it to him that overfly could be an issue
