Photoshop.
1) There's virtually no shadow as compared to the aircraft parked in the background, and 2) There no distortion from the exhaust.

I agree. It looks like someone just Photoshopped the gear out from under a taxiing aircraft. |

The fact that this photo is from www.airliners.net gives it credibility to me. They have several pictures of crazy French guys flying planes half a mistake high. I think it's legit - just really hard to believe.

Shadows and exhaust distortion are tricky elements in a photo. At high speed the heat distortion can start well behind a plane and there is a shadow.
This is not just some viral photo floating around cyberspace,. At Airliners.net these photos are subject to intense scrutiny by photographers who pride themselves in detecting chopped jobs. |

well if they were taxiing, why would they be so far over to the right side of the taxi way and not closer to the center line of the taxi way whic you can see in the photo.

Real. THe exhaust nozzles are closed. If they were taxing they would be open.

Fake,
If you zoom in on the rudders of the plane they are exhibiting serious Jpeg'ing going up the front side of thee rudder, but the long horizontal lines do not. This is a direct result of using the Photoshop magnetic outline tool. Also the white line from the runway crosses through the canopy, and yes a curved canopy will distort that line some, WTH is going on there?? Again Jpeg'ing is present. If I was a betting man I'd say FAKE!

if that was real i don't see how he could have enough altitude to pull up. once he applied elevator i think the rear would drop and hit the ground. he would have to be reeeaaaaaalllllllll easy on the elevator to gently gain altitude.
