No surprise......

-Stood behind the plane to take off, which is not normal for most people so orientation can be an issue
-Taxi tests showed this field was bouncy as hell. Not so much pilot error as the plane simply bounced into the air too soon, too slow.

Exactly what I was thinking. The pilot looked like he was holding elevator too soon, maybe because of the rough field? Also looked like pretty aggressive elevator movement when he was checking the controls.

The bumpy field was the only reason that jet popped off the ground, no way the air speed was high enough.

He would have been better off having one of his buddies with the biggest beer belly "hand launch" it.................

Regardless of what we can speculate, the facts are that a maiden should have never been done on a bumpy grass field. The pilot chose to attempt the maiden there - wrong choice - so it was still pilot error, 100%.

So, I'd say it "failed" the "taxi test". Seems like that would have been a tip off?

Yea, CG to far back. Rough Field, Noted front end popping up on taxi test. No groundspeed. Typical wing stall to left.Model not suited for such a rough field. To much elevator control even if it had launched. But what do I know, never flew a turbine jet, only prop jets.

At :45 too much elevator throw, at 5:16 nose off the ground long before fatal bounce obviously from holding too much elevator, not from a bounce as it was sustained nearly till the fatal bounce.
Seems pretty simple, pilot not experienced enough
Good try, nice looking plane but evidence is evidence. Sorry for your loss.
