Default Slope soaring in DFW area?

Anybody slope soaring in the DFW, Texas area? I live next to Lake Grapevine. I hear the dam is "sloping friendly". I fly powered planes, but have recently been interested in building a soaring glider to have something for those days when it's too windy for the flying field.

hi, You should post inthe rcgroups slope section, the group there is huge and would likly know.. if the dam is facing the wind and is steep and you have a back field to land, you shoul dbe good to go, a combat flying wing glider is hard to beat, you cant hurt those. the weasel is good.
