Default gas on foam repair

I got some gas on the inside of a foam core plane and was wondering what is the best thing to repair it with, to fill in the voids

Touch foam and a sheet of cardboard made to sit about 1/2in above the surface filling, put a few holes in the cardboard for the nozzle and fill slowly until it comes around each hole (little shots not one big squeeze on the trigger) let dry and lightly sand with a medium sanding sponge to get a smoother surface and it will last a long time.
