Damon, you guys are knocking this one out of the park. Fantastic prize list! It's good to hear that the field is in good shape and ready for this event. I will have audio gear ready to go by Friday late afternoon and if there is anything else I can do to help... just let me know.

Making plans on how much audio gear to load for the free style... Do you guys just want to be able to hear it very well or would you like to be able to feel it? The difference being (2) 15" speakers or (6) 15" speakers plus a monitor for the pilots. Also, freestyle music can be on an IPOD, I phone, CD or MP 3 we can play it all!

You are right, but the club is working so hard to make this a major deal that the prize amount is growing faster than they can change all the headers.

Greg I love the way you think.
I'd love for everyone to feel it but it is up to you? As long as everyone can hear I thing we'll be fine. Your system is so much better than some PA speakers I think I is all good!

FG members what are your thoughts?

what is the schedule for the basic class. I may be brave enough to give it a try.

We can see the pilot list of who's signed up on the IMAC website. However, since there is also a sign-up procedure outside of the IMAC web page is there anyway to see the combined list of pilots? I assume some people may have signed up in both places? Thanks.

Awesome Kevin,
Would love to have you come out. It does a body good!

Basic has 10 maneuvers they are listed below:
  1. A 45% up line (just that)
  2. A Split S with a 1/2 Roll (Which is a 1/2 Roll & 1/2 loop)
  3. A Hammerhead (Or Stall Turn)
  4. A Full Roll (Simple Aileron Roll)
  5. Teardrop with a 1/2 roll (Simply a 45% upline then you pull a loop till you are pointed in a downline where you do a 1/2 roll)
  6. Loop (Basic Loop)
  7. Shark's Tooth (which is simply a vertical upline then you pull to a 45% down line with a 1/2 roll)
  8. Reverse Half Cuban (Which is just a 45% up line -- then 1/2 roll -- then pull a loop so you end up level)
  9. Vertical Upline with 1/2 Roll (Just as it sounds)
  10. Vertical Downline with 2 turn spin (You just stall the plane and do two spins at idle)
Sounds tougher than it is.

Click Here for a video of the sequence

Click Here for the training link

Click Here for the Aristi (the written segment of the sequence)

Plus all this info is on our club site at the bottom of the page http://www.jetero.com/imac.htm

We'll have a blast and you have to fly in the Freestyle

Damon

Thanks for the info. However I wanted to get the schedule what times each class flies and how many times. Need to see what the time commitment is.

I have a question about the stall turn. If the aircraft rolls a little bit because of the rudder needed to pull the nose around, and there's a partial roll by the pilot to correct the aircraft, this counts off right?
