Now, just gotta sell me 3W 100 with mufflers, and 2 sims in the swapper here!!!! C'Mon guys!!! Help a guy out!!! Still need to buy a few servos, a prop and spinner (which will be a carbon spinner from TBM).

Think today, since I have no money for anything, I'll get down to the brass tax and fiddle with the covering. Corners are lifted all over the place. Good thing it is MonoKote!!! I have a bottle of trim solve I can use as well!!!! Started on the throttle servo last nite. Need a little bit of ply to set my 3421 servo on.

Yeah, I know...... Need pix..........

Things to buy........

Servos.
Prop/Spinner combo.
New soldering iron (butane iron isn't working).
Prop bolts.
Carb bolts.

Be careful with that trim solvent. It is Ultracote not Monocote. I am not sure how Ultracote likes that trim solvent. With the built in baffling I had to use 1/4" spacers on the motor so you may need to do that for spinner clearance.

I figured that I would have to space out the motor.

Everything I have ever covered has been in MonoKote..... This just looked like it had a shine to it.....

Once I got to going over the covering some with my iron, I then confirmed it..... YUP!!!! UltraCote.......

I can't stand UltraCote. Oh well!!!

But anyways.... I got the covering laid back down, and removed all the covering off the top of the vertical, and sanded it down a little for rudder clearance. Put the 1 piece of trim I didn't ruin back on, and glued the rudder to the airframe!!

J&J tailwheel will be here this week, along with a new soldering iron, and a AR9000 Rx I bought off a dude on RR. Cut some 1/4" spacers for the 157 at work this week, that way, I can permantly mount the engine. New bolts for the 157 are on the way from AI, as well.

Yeah, I know.......... Still need pix......

Thanks for the order. It will ship on Monday. You won't be disappointed. Send us a picture when it is installed. If you were here we would install it for you.

Ok, guys....

Here are some pix that my g/f took Thursday nite......

Got the engine mounted, new spacer blocks on, mufflers mounted, and cowl set on. Going to build a cowl ring for the cowl over the winter. I will deal with the blocks on the cowl for the time being. I will be installing a 32oz tank for the time being. Since I just happen to have an EXTRA Bennett tank from my 35% Carden. No more smoke in it!!! That'll give me fuel for about 9 minutes of flight. Servos coming soon, once I get some $$$. Also got my J&J TW in and installed!!!

Pix slowly coming....... (Having issues with uploading pix......)
