I hope your enp is better than my standard tipped 30/12, on 150/RE3's it was the loudest prop I have ever heard. Very powerful but wicked loud.

Not alot to report on this end here....... Still in need of servos, control horns and a spinner.
Got a home appraiser coming this week to appraise my house, since I re-financed. Got a couple of band things to work on this week. So, yeah, busy week here!!!!

Got down to the basement the other nite.... Got a throttle servo mounted. Using a JR 3421 mini digi. Hooked it up to a AR 9000, to bind, and got nothing..... Check servo plug.... OK. Change battery, re-bind..... Nothing....... ***!!!!! For some reason, I have to have a remote antenna plugged in in order to get the bind process to take. I checked on both my AR 9000's that I'm going to use in this airframe. Sure enough!!! Gotta have a remote antenna plugged into the Rx.
![]() Started to set up the throttle linkage, and with a 1 1/2" arm on the servo, I get to half stick, and I'm WIDE OPEN carb butterfly!!! ARGH!!!! Guess I need to make the carb arm longer to change the geometry...... But anyways... I got my new Secraft fuel dot in, as well as some 8-32 control horns. Heading to the dungeon of doom here in a bit to install some control horns!!! WOO HOO!!!!! Possibly looking to trade off my 3W 100 that is in the swapper here, for some servos and possibly a spinner...... Time will tell!!!!

Bunk, throttle servos always get the little 1/2" plastic arm for resolution.

I got'er fingered out!!! I used a longer arm on my carbby!! ATV's at 90 low and 115 high!!!! Just used a small strip of aluminum. I like to try to keep 100% ATV high/low, or as close to it. That way, it is very linear. I tried a short arm on the carb arm, and at 40% stick, I was at FULL carb open!!!
Started to run elevator ext's last nite. In the Dalton, there are small holes in the formers and I wanted to run all my extensions in there, and wondered how I would get them in there. I used a long piece of CF rod and run it thru there, and out the rudder servo holes. I make my own extensions, so I can make them any length I want! Not sure how long they are, but I thnk that they are shorteer than the ones in my 35% Carden!!! But anyways, I taped up the male end to the CF rod, and pulled the ext thru. Too bad I have to work today, as I had some good momentum going last nite...........

I did get an answer from Azhar from Secraft on the fuel dot situation. He says to super glue the o-ring to the fuel dot after it is in place. Pretty slick idea, if you ask me!
So, that'll go in late tonite, and the same for the rudder extensions!!!

After a bit of RC therapy, I come up from the dungeon!!! I managed to get some pix taken while working some. I made 2 more extensions for the rudder servos. I'll show in pix how I pull the rudder ext's in. I mounted the tank, run the line for the carbby, mounted my Secraft fuel dot. I'm still debating on if I want to do a cowl ring or not....... :/
Hope I can find some extra $$$$, trade something off.............. I'm in need of servos now!!!!! Otherwise I'm at a COMPLETE stand still! UGH!!!!

As I promised in an earlier post......... Here are the pix!!!! A little of pulling the rudder extensions in, the ORANGE velcro, and it all together with spinner on..... I just wish I could use that spinner. But that gives me a look as to what it'll be like with a spinner on it.
How about them BIG rudder servos there!!! Some 3421's!!! I got a feeling they will be enough!!!! I have a good feeling that the Rx's will be in that general area.....Fuel dot is in and not going anywhere!!! I think the race car helmet guy has gotta go...... Maybe I can talk my gf into buying me a Red Aero pilot???? And finally, no guys!!! I'm not running a DA 150 in this. The vinyl's are clear coated over.

I need something to put in the big white areas on the wings............ Anyone have any ideas.............
Just back up from the pit....... Pulled 4 servos out of my Carden, and installed them in my Dalton. VERY little sub trim to get neutral on the right aileron. I could mechanically change the trims, but I've got it that close, just leave it alone. We are only talking 8 points of sub trim!!!! Other side was ZERO!!!! Then I changed the mounting location of the main switches to under the wings on each side, near the proposed Rx location. I just need 4 more servos, and CG it. That way, I can mount the batteries and Rx's!!!!! Still need to make Aileron extensions for the Rx, but that can wait a bit......

Chris,
The Dalton's looking nice!! For those big white spaces I installed some big "Spektrum" stickers with the logo on top in holographic blue. They looked really cool in my QQ Yak. Check it out: http://bandegraphix.com/DecalDesigner.asp?ID=156
