Jr X10 and R945S rx.

the resetting to defaut did not work.

Happens to servos hooked to a y and stand alone servos

Took to arm off one servo and helt my finger on the spline... it quit with the other under load.

going to now try taking both arm off an throwing the sticks.....

Will try a different RX next

Ok, new RX, fresh battery, one servo in a channel, no arm on servo, cycling the stick as fast and the servo shuts down.

Now what gives?

Servo direct to RX, battery showing 7.14V, moving to sticks slow and the servo "reboots"...

Any thoughts on over voltage? my only other option other than trash the servos.

Case closed.

Problem: 5955tg servos shutting down.

Cause: 6V packs running 7.4V Servo's where shutting down on over voltage.

What pack is it exactly? A 5-cell NiMH or NiCd never goes over 7 volts. And it drops from there instantly down to near 6.7 volts.

Nevermind, I saw that you have a JR 2700 NiMh. I assume this is a 5-cell. I never heard of any going up to 7.4 volts. Are you sure?

My meter doesn't lie.

Took me for a loop also. Been running a 5 cell on my 34% with 5955 all around with zero probs for about 4 years now. Not sure the voltage there, thinking it is 6.5v'ish.

Terick,

are you regulating the voltage to your RX and sending the 8.4v to your servos?
