free carden extra 300s

ok here's what i have 30% carden extra 300s 96 model in need of repair. i'd like to give this plane to a student who would like to get into imac or flyig giants who has the desire and a mentor to help with the repairs. do to trying to streach a dead stick ( ran out of fuel) it now needs to have the landing gear mount and firewall reinstalled. some of the sheeting on the bottum of the wing about the size of a dollar bill is dammaged where the wheel pants hit. the left rear horizontal stab also was damaged the worst. also have a 4.2 brisson sachs i'll throw in with c h ig it also needs repair. well thats about it i'll answer questions as best i can. been out of the hobby for years and i may be grasping at staws but i thought before i burnt it i would see if there was high school student that might like to have a project for the winter. that can't realy justify the price of a new kit.

That is an awesome gesture!! I truly hope someone can find a kid that would appreciate this type of project. What better way to get someone involved in IMAC?! 'Cmon guys, see if anyone can give this plane a good home!! NCFR!!!!!!!!

I am in the Louisville area. The College is 10 minutes from me. Alas, I am no student in the usual sense.

I do need a Winter Project, does that count ?

I do understand the problem here. I find the occaisional airframe at a price I can swing and the shipping gets in the way. In some cases the shipping would be more than the plane cost and some are even worth.

well its gone and i hope the 13 yr old has half as much fun with it as i did. i can think of no better place than a father son winter project. good luck in imac next yr and if i can help just say so.
