I am trying to compare this plane with the AW Extra 300 and Extreme Flight Yak 54, anyone have experience with this Pilot RC and either of the other 2?

The pilot is lighter and is still a strong platform and it was built flwlessly out of the box! I replaces some hardware though thats my only complaint . Wheel axles being one and servo arms and links rod ends . For the money I would go PILOT!!! LOOK AT THE NEW 35% SBACH ON TBM'S WEB SITE.That a new plane that I'm getting

Well guys I fixed my plane . I repaired the bottom side and got it all back together and I should say it wasnt bad at all . Took me 10 hours and you can barely tell the repair .
This time I tuned it and it was still running a little fat on the bottom I took of and made one flight landed tuned it again and took off on the second flight and ran the fool out of it this time ! I could tell I got a couple more 100 RMS out of the engine I really opend her up this time !!! I made several low passes and would you know it died over the run way and I took her down and landed her in the tall grass . The landing gear ripped off again but it's a easy fix . I just have to relace the main block that it bolts on to . I made it where it will break away and have less damage . I came home tonight and saw I just ran out of gas . LOL I have already fixed it when I got home and will be flying today some more. i'll kep it on this airframe until the engine is broken in and i'll buy a new one soon. |
