2009 Heart of Ohio Huckfest is GO!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys, it is officially that time of year!
Pack the bags, charge the planes, load the trailers, stock up on Redbull and hit the road for the one, the only, HEART Of OHIO HUCKFEST!

Corky, Jeff and the Thistledown flyers have the field looking perfect, they called in the good weather order and we are ready to go! The longest running Huckfest of the series is in it's fourth year, and it just keeps getting better and better!

This year we have a slew of fun activities planned including:

E-ROC - Aerocat electric pylon race
50cc - pylon race
Foamie Demo derby
Snap-a-Saurus contest.

Also, for the first time ever, using RealFlight G4.5, we will host a "Liquid Expo contest" on Saturday night. That is right, after dinner, and after you have put your real planes away, we will pull out the adult beverages, and a G4.5 Simulator and get silly!

Also, on Saturday night this year, we will have a bon fire, Big lights for night flying (if you did not enter the liquid expo contest) and some other fun mayhem!

And all this is on top of the non stop Hucking action we all know will take place!

So get your Booty to the 2009 OHIO HUCKFEST!

The landing fee this year will be $30 for the weekend.
This price includes a full on real deal Steak Dinner with fixins on Saturday (around 6 ish)
(If you have a wife or girlfriend that wants to eat, a non pilot dinner ticket will be available for $10)


ALERT: ALERT: This just in! I'm not sure what exactly Corky and the boys at the Thistle Down club have in store for us, but I just got a message that the Pentagon has given permission and cleared "SOMETHING"!! What that SOMETHING is, you will have to just show up and see!!!

Heck yea! Just let Danniell know that there has never been a "Huckfest" baby born yet!
I think Snap may have created a few Huckfest babies, but none have been born on the flightline as of yet!

ahhh man... it's not looking good for me this week! we have a ton of advertising dollars wrapped up in a sales event here at my car lot and we will hopefully be busy enough to justify my need to stay here. the car business is NOT the business to be in right now as i'm sure you can all imagine! we need this week and weekend to produce some revenue to stock pile for the up and coming winter months that we know will be full of slow time!!!! if i get the chance, i'm hoping to be able to get away to be there fri evening and sat with a VERY EARLY return on sunday morning..... if i can't make it... you guys all have a blast for me.

Man I can't wait. Everything is packed in the van except the plane. I Leave for a 48 hour shift at work in about an hour. When I get off work at 5:00 pm Thursday, it will be a quick trip home to load the plane and then head out. If all goes well I should pull into the field around midnight ar just a little later.
