Default Tx Voltage in Futaba 12FGA 8v charged????

Hi guys

I have just received a Futaba 12FGA Transmitter on 2.4 - FASST.

However, even following charging and discharging the battery (1100mAh 8cell NiMh) I can only get it to read 8 volts, it dropps to about 7.7V and stabilises (have flown 5 times at thisvoltage without drop)

It just doesnt seem right for the battery voltage to be so low, maybe some other 12FGA users can chime in as in the manual it doesnt say max and min voltages
(In my JR 3810 the max was about 11.3V and minimum I tried never to find out! I think it was about 7V though

Thanks!

Martin

Well, it's only a 6 cell battery so if you try to charge it above 11V I think you'll fry it

The cut-off voltage is somewhere around 6,8V.
