Default Power Set up for a 35%

Im looking at running the following set up in my new 35%, could anybody tell me if I'm getting the correct set up? I plan to run 2- 3800 mah 2 cell Li-MN 7.4v batteries for rx power, now my main question is, is can i use the Electronic Switch for both batteries since it say's good for to inputs? Or do i need to get two regulators for these batteries and a different main power switch? And for engine power im looking at getting 4300 mah 4 cell Li-ion 7.4 v pack and Digital switch with built in reg. Will this set up work, or does anybody see any problems with this set up?
Thanks for your time!

The 3800s are fine but I would use 2 switches and 2 regulators for redundancy. As far as the ignition goes the switch and reg is fine but a 2600 mah is plenty. This is just one of many opinions you will get.

Thanks! I really like that Electronic switch though!! I'm not to picky on what i use, i would rather a better looking switch than the regular but its not about the bling other than its about the performance and reliability of the equipment. Thanks for the response!!

Kyle,

One 2150 2 cell Li-Ion and Digi-Switch is all you need for your ignition.
Also for 35%, I would use 2 2200, 3800 is a little too much but it's up to you.
You can not use Digi-switch for your receiver they can't handle too many amps!

Hope this helps,
Reza

Thanks Reza! What switch would you prefer for this set up? Just the regular power switch, or would a smart switch work well? I'd just like to get the best package and set up possible. Thanks
Kyle

With those batteries you will need regulators, get two fail-safe switch regulator from Duralite! So you know in my 100cc QQ-Yak, all I have is one 3000 2s2p Li-Mn and one regulator-fail safe switch from Duralite. it is pushing 3 years now, have changed the battery only once!

I just want to confirm this battery size. I see on the Duralite site that a 4300 is recommended for twin ignitions...

I was planning on getting one 2600 Li-Ion or maybe one of the 2150's on sale for the ignition on my DLE 111.

Thanks, Doug

You are being seriously "over sold" where ignition batteries are concerned. At an average rate of 450 mA per hour of run time per cylinder, just how much battery does one need? A 2,000 mA battery will last you all day and then some.

Hi Doug,

Yes, you really don't need anything bigger than 2150 however new cells at the same weight are 2600 so just get a 2600 and fly two days straight for the same weight and price of 2150. I am not even sure if there is any 2150 any longer! DA ignitions at full throttle consume about 1 amp hour. So on average 450 ma/hour as mentioned by T O M is spot on! That means six 10-min flights will only use about 1/5th of the battery capacity! However, always check your ignition batteries after 7-8 flights!

Cheers,
Reza
