Not to long ago ,like maybe april,I was at a non AMA sanctioned flying spot and watched a guy fly over at about500 feet in a ultra light, and one of the flyiers at the field buzzed the ultra lite with two pass about 50 to 60 feet below and to the ultra lights 7:00 o clock low position and every one there was laughing and thought is was funny or cool.
But now I relize just what a foolish act in avaiation that type of barn storming is,with RC aircraft,

The title says it all "MORON HITS PARACHUTER" Burn the rc pilot, burn the spotter, burn the whole club if one exists. It's getting real old. all these incidents. They should not be happening! We will pay in the end!

Wow, talk about resurrecting an old thread that has already been beat to death!!

Some of the newcomers should go back to the start and review the thread before making uninformed posts.

Judge your right about being an old thread - I never noticed it until it was resurrected yesterday. While I don't agree with all the "Bashing" that goes on in these threads - I'm glad it was brought back up. Between this thread and the by-plane thread I have learned quite a bit - how important it is to have a capable spotter, being aware of your surroundings etc. I've been flying for 5 years but relatively new to GS and these threads - while they do get out of control - have taught me quite a bit in a short amount of time and for that I'm thankful.

I didnt know about this thread until yesterday, and the video I think craven linked to in the byplane versus rc plane thread...hehe all the "rc versus FS " threads have been beat slap to death, but,I have learned a great deal throughout all of it and hope it will make me an even safer pilot from now.

And craven, nah,i got plenty of knots.

I'm glad you guys see the point we're trying to make. Keep on flying safe because I love this hobby and don't want to be grounded by the actions of some fools.
