Default Radios Photo Reference (Slightly off topic)

I am looking for a site with photo reference of RC controllers used in the mid 70s. If anyone has any leads, please let me know.

What controller was the "most popular" in the mid-70s. Especially for military use.

Coming up empty handed in some extensive Google image searches and need something better.

Unlike today, there were dozens of radio brands in use simultaneously. In my club there were only a few people who had the same brand. HeathKit was popular because people liked to build it.
