Default Scandalous Pattern plane build

Ok, Biff asked me to do a build thread a while back so here goes.
The plane is the Scandalous from Chip Hyde.com and yes it's
a biplane. This is the updated version that Chip flew last year
at the AMA Nat's and the World's. The plane is a piece of work.
When I opened the box I was blown away by the quality of work
that is being done. The plane will take around a week to get together and
it could go quicker if you have the time. The plane comes painted, covered
and ready to be hinged. The fuse is paint with a clear coat. The wings, stabs
and rudder are covered in ultracoat. I will answer any questions that I can,
if not I will try and get the answer for you.

Here are 2 of the Scandalous bip's The pink one belongs
to B.W. Ponder and mine is the red one

I used Sig Easy hinges on all surfaces and have the servos mounted.
The Scandalous comes with the servos cut out in the wings. I used the Futaba
9650 servos because the are a perfict fit. The aileron cut outs have already been boxed in so all that needs to be done is add 1/4in servo rails and hook up the
ailerons. I use the carbon rod with 2-56 allthread and Chip Hyde control horns

There are 2 ways to do the elevator servos. If you go with a glow motor then
you can use the carbon rod system from Central Hobbies. I needed to try and save weight since I will be running the Hacker motors so I chose to put the Futaba 3150's in the stabs. I was able to cut and box in the stab with 1/16 balsa. Then added the hard wood to mount the servo.

Is it going to be ready for the jetero contest Todd? Can't wait to see it. Looks great.

Do you think you're going to be able to get by with 9650's in the wings and 3150's in the tail? I know you're trying to save weight, but there has to be a better way to do it besides downgrading your servos.

Brett,
I ran the 9650's all last year and B.W. ran the 3150's on his elevators
with no problem.
