Default Vic State Titles...24th to 25th of Oct 09

Hi all,

Thought I would start a new thread for the Vic State Titles on the 24-25th of Oct.

To be held at Darraweit Guim (Vic state field) see .vmaa.com.au for location and details

The field has local facilities so if you need to stay there then please get in touch with Phil Daynes ASAP or Stu Davies if you cannot get Phil.

Ill get Phil to post his phone number shortly.

PLENTY of prizes on offer and it will be great to see all of you there if you can make it.

Stu has also done some fantastic trophies for this... we all know how he can do great trophys....he reckons these are his best yet....

Anyway see you there.....of course if you dont turn up then I may have a chance of getting one of those nice trophys and prizes myself....hmmmmmm...maybe I shouldnt be doing this post....just joking...

Looking forward to seeing you all there.....

Rob ( Devo )....( Lollies )

cheers,
I too thought that Basic was easy until I flew it trying to perfect all that the judges look for....My advice would be to read the rule book before you decide you are above basic...
you may get a real shock

cheers,
Zac , sorry no bonus for juniors . They will get to see some pretty good flying though,
so thats not too bad . As for the entry details , there are too many to go through so if you
go to the link , reg on the site then you can submit an entry .It can all be done in one night .

Just for newbs when you come to an ASSA event there are two things you must have .
CURRENT :- MOP (heavy model permit) if the plane is over 7kg
:- MAAA licence
Forget either of these and you will have some BIG issues with the CD of the day

The only emails to be sent out will be the entry confirmations ,after your details
have been received .

I also want to clear a few things up which relate to ALL ASAA comps .

There is NO need for gold wings at ANY official ASAA comps .

ANY model plane can be flown while in basic class .

A scale pilot and dash is NOT req in Australia .

ALL flyers must enjoy themselves.

Mate,
Not trying to burst your bubble but you have to go through the classes like everyone else..
You cant just jump between classes at your own will.there is criteria you have to meet to be able to promote up through the classes...
I think you best have a chat to Stu or Tony Or Baz and find out how this hole IMAC thing works.
Not trying to flame ya mate but just dont want ya to make assumptions based on zero experience
