Undercart Just sitting on the plane, I have also included a picture down the muffler tunnel. Next will be mounting all the phenolic arms and servos. Might be a weekend job.

EG has really done a great job at incorporating a lot of the newer features modelers want in their line of new products. The one piece arbon fiber airfoiled gear not only looks good but is really strong. The canister tunnel is big enough to accomodate pretty much all the common canisters for the 50cc engines. Fuselage and wings are reinforced with carbon fiber rods. All great stuff!

Ok spent a bit more time and have mounted the motor, wasn't too bad and for a DA50 you need to use one of the required spacers to get a perfect 1.5mm of clearance with standard standoffs. Next is onto the servos and linkages then the electronics, then fly the thing. Should be good.

Do you know who will be carrying this line here in the US. I have a 50cc Raven right now that I am re-buliding after an unfortunate radio lock out. I would however much rather just order a new one. Thank you

We are going to carry these at OMP once the prototyping and testing is complete. EG is working on several very exciting new offerings. We've got the 50cc Extra 300 and Yak SP55M completed and they are planned for shipment on the 15th of Oct. The Extra 300 and Yak are the smaller versions of out 100cc models. We'll also be getting the new 50cc MX2 in this same shipment!
Here are some pictures of the Yak 55SPM. The white one is the 50cc prototype and the yellow one is the 100cc model. The new 50cc Yaks will have the same yellow scheme as the 100cc model. |

The factory says they will be ready to ship the 50cc Raven the middle to the end of Dec 2009. Ohio Model Products has in stock the 33 Percent EG Aircraft Raven in both black and blue color scheme along with EG Aircraft Extra 260 in the orange color scheme. Check out our website at www.ohiomodelplanes.com.
