Alot has happened since the club meeting after the AMA ruling.

Can someone please post an unbiased recap that is short and sweet of where things are at? I don't have time to read the 101 pages

I stay in the sun as less as possible, exposure for too long makes my skin itch, I keep stuff like a shade or hand gloves around. Notice in most of my pictures you will find me under a shade. lol

Good job Baj, if more children were raised this way we would have a better society.
SSRCC would also not have the problems you have experienced.

Super short story:
AMA's action forced the club to choose if they wanted to go private if the AMA standards were not followed. The club members came out in favor of reaming with AMA, on the Sept14th meeting. I was to ask that the admin step down to comply with the AMA requirements. A lot of the members who were in favor of following the AMA's recommendation, were convinced by the ex president that he spoke with AMA and that they had backed off. Along with informing us one of the members had filed a lawsuit. I then explained to the membership that I have been informed that AMA does no t require the stepping down of these officers. So I made no motion for their removal. The sympathy game played by the ex president had me and most of our membership fooled
People here on this website and some more mature members wanted to know all the details of the incident, and the lawsuit. Latter it was proven that no club assets had been frozen. And that none of the flying giants had anything to do the incident of home break in. AMA made clear it had not talked to the ssrccprez and no such impression was given that they were not backing away from anything they had put in writing from the fist notice. SSRCCPrez anf the sectary on the sep14th meeting had put their names in for vp and treasurer to contest the election. The AMA posted a letter indicating that it will not be allowed and they need to step down after confronting the lie told. The board steps down. 1st ssrccprez stepped down on a live session on this site, the following day all sent in their resignation, less the old VP who stepped down the following day, the uncontested seats took over the club, and recovered the club stuff from the old admin, they posted out the ballots and now the elections are on way. Hope this helps.

RTK these kids have learned from this culture. This is where they were born. This is where their loyalty should be. They are the product of the best from back there and most of down here.

Baj, I'm sure your children are happy in the father you are to them. Nothing wrong with a little stability and manners! My hat's off to you on many levels.

Thanks BaJ. From the bits and pieces I was able to read with my limited internet access recently and your description I now understand where the club is at. Seems things are working out to put this club on the right track again. While that may still mean no GS in the future at least the club has seen the light that they were infact hurting themselves for a long time it appears.

From the looks of it and what I was told of the trash bag the stuff was in " Let them know this is what I think of this stuff, lucky I didn't throw this stuff away.”

The best example of leadership on this point was Set by, The 2008 VP , when he won a nice expensive hanger 9 airplane he said thank you , but please pick again, The next winner to this day can't thank him enough. That is what leadership is about. It was our policy never to accept any prizes or awards, from the club as long as we were officers. What greater award can the membership give us than their trust.

A little while ago I had a visitor, who in detail told me about a conversation he had with the ex president, while picking up the clubs stuff. I was not surprised again that he would attack me on my personal lifestyle and the leadership of my family. I welcome him to come here and speak his mind, on how my children are servants, in my house as they ask anyone who visit my house if they would like a cup of coffee, or something to drink. What the gentleman does not understand is that I gave up my entire carrier, so I could make sure my wife achieved her goals and her happiness, that my children be from those who contribute towards society and are able to get along with everyone. It took me to be a strict disciplinarian. Yet reaming balanced and open minded. I would of kindly told him that it is none of his business how I raise my kids and maybe if his parents had instilled manners in him he would know than and by the way its now time for you to leave. Just my opinion.

This club use to have over 300 members, now it's down to a little over 100 but with Baj leadership and support from the AMA and District One VP Andy, I see a bright future for the SSRCC club, stay tuned.
