I am jealous, looks like you had a lot of fun, count me in in future activity, hope to get my radio back soon, I made the mistake of not having a back up radio but I am happy to know that everything is running smooth.

sorry craven all bad things must come to an end. much good has come of all this. we have made a real cool bond you might say. alot of work went into this from people like eli , chane , don and a host of others thant dont need to be mentioned. this is all done for the sickness we all truly suffer from. what is so strange about this sickness is i cant think of many other things that cause this much emotion and energy that go into a hobby. i have done many things and everything to the outer limits and this takes the cake. as you can see from the pictures, the scope of this hobby gets everyone from our junior members that we are teaching to fly to the guys well over the hilll and everyone in between. i mean no disrespect in that comment it is all good. as you can also see we had everything from midget electric planes to turbines and 42% planes all having a blast. this was only 1 of the many things we have planned for multi clubs in the area so this is as baj says "a work in progress".
next, thank you all for coming down to partake in our experiment. this showed we can all work and play and get along. we trained 10 year old kids, flew imac style, we hovered and flew scale. all had a blast all in the same place at the same time.

remember this statement and see you at tonights meeting. "the field is the place men go to become boys" as long as we remember this and keep that perspective all should be good. and we need to keep each other in check when one of us gets too serious about our hobby. ken

Respected Members,
Good morning, today, the new board that you so overwhelming voted for will run the SSRCC meeting. On behalf of the entire new board let me thank you for the extremely enthusiastic show of support. Your new board ran on and stands for no nonsense within our club; zero tolerance for conduct unbecoming of a SSRCC member or board executive; and transparent operations.
As your president I will be picking up where I left off in 2008 and will try my very best to build a reputation that begins with a new tradition of open-minded thinking, a welcoming atmosphere, and the promotion of creative ideas. Your new board will uphold responsible financial management, sharing of knowledge, and encouragement of friendship, fun and flying at the SSRCC, your wonderful club.
In the recent election you have clearly demonstrated, that the overwhelming majority has no patience for rude and manipulative conduct. The SSRCC monthly meeting will commence today Monday, the 2nd of November, at 7:30PM at the polish club. The refreshments include coffee and donuts, door prizes donated by your board will be given out. Guests will be welcomed to our meetings, and we all look forward to enjoying your company at this get-together, which gives us the opportunity to see friends we have not been able to see during the month. There are a lot of new members who have joined the club, who are looking forward to meeting all of you. Please do make the time to come and welcome them to your club.
Whether you have voted for the new board or not , we would all like you to know we encourage a healthy opposition and as far as we are concerned the differences of opinions should not prevent us from being respectful while still enjoying each other’s friendship.
Welcome to a new chapter in the history of the SSRCC, we are extremely excited to see all of you at our first meeting after taking charge. Bring those wonderful new projects you have been working on and win a prize, a minimum of 5 participants are needed to win a model of the month prize which is donated for this meeting.

Please stay tuned tonight for the continuation of my previous post where I had mentioned that I would like to bring forward the remainder of extra ordinary people who contributed to this change and their selfless support in advising and contribution to further our hobby.
