Elie you are correct on this matter.
The loud ripping sound of a prop will travel farther than the engine noise with stock mufflers itself..
If you do a high speed level flight pass "With A Loud Prop"the prop drowns out the sound of the motor to a point to where you barely hear the motor.
I think that when not so knowledgeable people hear a loud plane they automatically think its the engine when in all actuality it's the prop they hear.

Anyway don't worry I will not jeopardize your club, it seems everywhere I go there is controversy, my plane is always the loudest, my plane is always the biggest, I will be joining another local club, good luck to your club, I hope you work out all the problems.

No need to go anywhere you stay right here were you belong this is your club just as it belongs to eveyone who pays his dues like you have. Be a part of fixing the problem by working with us to improve where you feel we are not.
