BTW Ken, if I had planes that flew like the ones in this sim, I'd have crashed them all. From what I can see RealFlight is still GOD.

This plane flies so much like my 3M Comp ARF. I learned to fly every thing I do with it, at least up to the point a sim can provide anyway. You still have to learn with a sack and the real plane. But unless someone can email me a decent plane that actually flies like it should, I'm not sold on this Phoenix sim.

The other one flies almost exactly like my EF Extra, big time.

Greetings from Boston!
Well guys, I've had to come to Boston, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and I think, one corner of Vermont. I was here visiting a distributor of ours and got to cover all this territory in a whirlwind trip. I have learned that while I am freezing my back side off, the natives are relishing this little "cool snap."
In going out to talk to my distributor's customers, I have found out that they like to hold high level meetings outdoors so they can enjoy the briskness of the day! Never mind my blue lips...... I'll be fine once the feeling comes back to my toes! I have found that if you keep your mouth shut about team sports, college choices, politics, etc., a big 'ol boy from Texas can do well here and will be well liked by the aforementioned natives. Speaking of...... The lady at the deli counter at lunch today that served me all the Boston cuisine that tasted SOOOOOOOO good is now on my Christmas card list! And for sure, we can't forget Ms. Rose Spinelli at the car rental place........ I believe she saved my rear with the car rental thingy. (I won't go into it but she is my newest friend in Boston!) I now also see why the modelers in this area tend to stay in their hobby rooms, basements, etc. building all winter. The wind and driving slushy snow is no place for a warm blooded Texas boy to even think about outdoor activity so I think if I were here permanently, I'd be holed-up in a basement working on next Spring's building project for sure! Well guys....... Signing off from my hotel in beautiful uptown Braintree, Mass........ SEE YA!

Whatever do you mean? Just look at the pics above. I just took those not thirty minutes ago. Oh, wait, those are sim pics, sorry, the fantasy became real for a moment.

Hey, welcome my friend!! Good to have you out this way. I lived in Corpus for two years and ran a shrimp boat down there when I was only eighteen!! Started as deck hand and moved up to captain a few days a week. Also surfed it up big time with the sharks!! Could drive the car right down on the beach. I got so tired of that heat, it's nice to be up north where you do get a break from it. I change that tune come February; I'm ready to turn the heat up outside by that time for sure.

Now, it's time to build, fix and enjoy the cozy house for Christmas with the family!!

Wango, I'm originally a Florida boy, got hired by the airlines in '87 and moved up here. It was nice to be away from the heat, or so I thought. Now that I'm here full time I've found that the main problem is that winter lasts 9 months. No wonder guys up here have some chithot airplanes. People up here wear shorts, T-shirts and flip-flops at 40 degrees. Any higher than that they think it's HOT.
