Why are on Earth are the past board members still in any position off this club is beyond belief. You guys are setting your selves up for failure. And if I was the AMA I would yank the charter and tell you guys to get your house in order, or the charter will not be given back to the club. This is ridicules to even attempt to go forward like this! Also Baj and a few others! You need to take the rose colored glasses off and see people for who they are, not who you would like them to be. In the next meeting maybe you guys should just go around and kick your selves in the junk!

Why did the first vote to ban GS not get tabled to allow all the members to be aware of this movement?
Who was it that wanted to ban GS in the firdt place?

I am sorry but you wont like this answer...I cannot answer the first question as I was NOT in attendance at that meeting where this all started.....

I can look and see who made the motion but I dont remember off the top of my head..Sorry, really not trying to dodge the questions

Interesting question....The V.P. asked that the person in question check MEMBERSHIP Cards at the door and write down the names for the purposes of a roll call vote.....That was his only responsibility...

You are not responsible for the actions of the other 2 guys. Do what is right without regard to them. Pulling them into your decision process sounds a little like a poor excuse. I applaud your choice to remove your name from the ballot. Wise choice.

As for resigning being an admission of some sort of guilt, I don't think it will come across this way. Your resignation letter could clearly state that you are doing it to support the Club's desire to comply with the AMA. It would be a big symbolic boost for the Club at a minimum, and put those that are not willing to resign in the spot light regarding their true motives.
