To the hateful SSRCC club members calling Baj putting pressure on him because I have the audacity to call attention to your sick behavior on the night of 7/27. I have the constitutional right to free speech, TALK TO ME, BAJ IS NOT MY MASTER. Your hateful racist actions the night of 7/27 cast me in a poor light as I am a member too and was in attendance that night. You want me thrown out for discussing this club in a public forum and saying negative things about the club. Tough chit! You said it and the AMA heard it, and you can't keep denying it. You allowed a XXXXXXXXX individual who had been told by the AMA to resign to run the meeting like a circus act completely ignoring what the meeting was supposed to be about and not addressing the issues facing this club. This crap is being watched by the press and the good Doctor you discriminated against on 7/27, your digging yourselves a deeper and deeper hole that will collapse on you if you keep up the denial and threats. If baj loses this election it will be because the over 65 crowd has become out of touch with reality. Baj did not take any control of club yet as his post of president is a contested race and needs to be voted on. Don Brown and Carl Vogel now run the club until we vote for president and vice president.

Somebody jump in and help Rudestar. He is full of piss and vinegar today. Let's help set the record straight.
I can still remember when I joined a new club about 12 years ago. Did not know a sole in the club. I cranked up my engine and this old man came out cussing like a salior and ask me why am I down on his end of the field and for me to get the fxxt out of here! A few weeks later one of his friends said we ought to name the field after me cause I flew all the time (I was burning 2 gal of glow each weekend) I looked at him and told him If I quit flying there would not ever be any planes in the air. I asked him and his old friend if they could fly, beause I had never seen them fly. Well all hell broke loose. That old man is about 85 now and he still is a pain in the asxx.
I left that club and started a new club. It became the largest club in the area. The first rule-- there will be not negative attitudes at this club.
Looking back I should have set my Radio down and decked his asxx.

Here is the letter that I sent on Carl's and my behalf. This went to as many members email as I could gather and I put it on our SSRCC web site.

So, remain hopeful that we can get on with things and get the club running smoothly for all of its members.


Members of the SSRCC:

I just had a lengthy call with Andy from the AMA. He has received resignation letters from all board members of the SSRCC. He was being asked to make decisions for the club and he refuses to do so, which is understandable and actually appreciated. He informed me that under these extreme circumstances, if there are uncontested positions on the board for the upcoming election, given that it is so close to now, that it would be perfectly acceptable to have those individuals serve as interim officers to gather and organize all of the club’s information, including its records, membership information, financial information, and assets, in order to assure a smooth upcoming election on October 6th, 2009.

As you are all aware, based on our last meeting on September 14, 2009, where all upcoming board positions were up for re-election, Carl Vogel and I are uncontested for the Treasurer and Secretary positions respectfully. We are glad to take on the responsibility of collecting the club’s information from the ex-board members as best we can. I have sent correspondence to all ex-board members to request their assistance in doing so.

I can assure you that Carl and I will only act in the best interest of the club and its members and we will do so in an honorable and forthright manner that is deserved by all of our esteemed members.

Please, I know that I may not have all member’s contact information, I have done the best that I can to gather as many email addresses as I can, but if you know of any member that are not on this list, let me know so that I can let them know, or pass the information along to them directly for me.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will also post this information on the SSRCC web site.

Yup, we have a gentleman at our club who is 84 years old. Him and his wife come out and fly alot. He fly's pretty darn good too, and he doesn't just fly trainers in circles either, he tears it up with different aerobat's. Lands like a champ everytime. He is smooth and in control. Sounds like the opposite of the HMB's at the ssrcc club that just come out to get away from their better half's. We have a couple of them too, but they are nice and respectful of everyone all the time, and funny as all get out. (no pun) (well mabey)

Open Letter to the SSRCC members.

Dear Sirs,
If you have been a long time standing member of your beloved club. Then you probably have a lot of good old memories that you like to share with your old friends. That is cool, but being a long time member does not give you any special rights. Each and every member rejoins each year and are on equal bases. You may have more friends that you can lean on to get things done your way. But is your way in the best interest for the club and any new member who is just getting to know some of you.
Most of the people in this hobby are leaders, professionals, business men and above average intelligence. Most of us are type A personalities.
Look at it this way. There are 6.5 billion people on this Planet. There are roughly 250,000 to 300,000 ( someone may know the correct total) model pilots in the world. Of this amount only 15% are really active. That is about 40,000 to 60,000 . This puts all of us in a rare group. Let us make the best of it. You guys that have been around since AM radios and earlyer. Take a look at each other and ask yourself. Do we really want to do what we have been doing or do we want to make this HOBBY the best it can be!!!
