All should know that today after I returned a phone call to Bob Morris I was threatened, that my life would be made a living hell for the whole year just by me let alone the rest if you are elected president.

When I asked what you would like me to do," bow out, and stop supporting the GS. He was told in no uncertain terms not to threaten me, just do what you have to do, go ahead I am not going to step aside.

A few moments ago I got a call from this gentleman again explaining that he has never talked negatively about me to anyone. I believe (everyone has the right to speak their mind about someone provided it is true). My problem was with the direct threat of harm. I told the gentleman not to call here again, and that he is welcome to follow through with his threat, I hung up the phone.

Now with this being said I have one question for the AMA Rep's. Following is a quote from the letter each club member recieved from District 1 Rep (Andy).

*Any club members or officers who direct any retaliation action against other club members for letters written to the AMA representing either side, will be subject to the provisions of Article V of the AMA Bylaws which sets forth the AMA Membership expulsion process. This is to include threats, intimidation, physical harm, intentional equipment or flying site damage, or any other action deemed to be retaliatory by the AMA


Would this not be considered the same offense?

Leo was up @ Wingbusters tonite. Told me he has to run for Prez. He didnt say it in so many words ,but he made it sound like he had to do it for the good of the club. Like the alternative was really bad. Also said he's got nothin against the giant scale guys. Freinds ended the conversation when they saw i was getting wound up & started to hit him with things he couldnt comprehend. Like the truth about these clubs not being for the few whove got thiers so screw the rest of the world. But for everyone, even those stupid little people who think model aviation is cool and are naive enough to think they could master the controls.
The truth is, it pisses all THOSE people off when the new guys are better pilots than them by the end of thier first season! ............

I AM TRULY DOING THE BEST I CAN TO SIT ON MY HANDS AND KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT. I WONT PROMISE THIS WILL LAST MUCH LONGER.....ANY THREAT IS A THREAT AND SHOULD BE HANDLED AS JUST THAT. need we remind everyone from the past that this is a hobby and nothing more than that. threats are a double edge sword and cut both ways. we said we would show everyone we are responsable adults and would lead the club to the future. we have not backed off of that. these actions and threats are what have gotten this club into the mess it is in today. i sure hope the body of the club sees it for what it is as if not their hobby WILL become a living hell unless things change. i urge all that are standing in the way of progress step aside and allow new blood to direct this club to tomorrow or THERE will be no a place for you to fly at and YOU will leave the legacy of being the bunch that ruined it for everyone else. selfish old school thinking and ideas are not what anyone wants or needs to lead, other wise we would have the likes of stallen, hitler and others still running our lives. for the love of god stop it and just step aside not away others are more than capable of running this club so EVERYONE can have a good time not a select group or few.

Just what in the H-E Double Toothpicks are these people thinking ?

It is just beyond me that anyone would do what has been done over a Club for model planes.

Me thinks you guys should call in a good CPA. Something reeks. No way there could be this much "power struggle" without some kind of personal gain.

I might load up my work truck with a plane and ride it over for a weekend just to meet some of these people whose whole entire reason for existing is to have a strangle hold on a group of guys that just want to see their birds fly in the sky.

Someone should inform the King that if he kills all his subjects he is king over nothing.
