Over 90% of those in attendance voted to stay with the AMA.

Nearly everyone in attendance acknowledge that we need to move forward, accepting and encouraging particpation in all aspects of our hobby.

It was also virtually unanimous when deciding to lift the GS ban.

Many people felt good about themselves and others leaving the meeting - hoping for a return to flying and the prospect of making new friends.

I am now more than a little disappointed to find out that the club president lied about having contact with the AMA and continued that lie to suggest that there was a change in the AMA position concerning this matter.

I am also very disappointed to hear that there were a couple of members who left the meeting and immediately started to plot and scheme as to how they could undermine all theprogress made. What kind of a person does that? What drives them to be so miserable?

I firmly believe that the AMA will need to demand tht the current board step down and NOT run for elected office. I also think that even if there is resolution, the club will need to be on 'probation' for an extended period of time - so that it stays under the watchful eye of the AMA.

I do not think that those indivudals responsible for driving all of the animosity, discontent, etc understand how bad they acted - I fear that because some have gone unnamed that they think they have gotten away with it.

I am hopeful moving forward and open to those who want to work together to make the club better. My memory will remain clear and those who try to return to the animosity and discontent will be dealt with harshly. We must all agree that it simply will not be tolerated!

Baj, I agree that the stroy is un folding. However we must be fair to all that are conserned. You and I and many others are trying to be fair about the going ons of this club and many others. Should we not call out the ones that lie and deceive us? Should we let them get their way with out even bring up what they are doing.
I know it is hard to do these things, but we as a people have to stop this kind of mentality. I was asked if I support Verge? I don't even know the gentelman. I do not like what I have heard, but I do not know this to be true. I do know if one does not step forward then he is either hiding or no longer cares to engage in the battle. I will give him the benefit of doubt.
We should all refrain from calling people names. This only distracts us from the discussion at hand.
But we must not over look the details that have produced this discussion. All the facts must be brought forward, and these facts must be corroborated. I mean the facts not some emotional diatribes.
Now having said all of that. What are the facts?

Gentlemen,

It has come to my attention that we are now facing a filed litigation against the club officers by a member. Additionally there is a suit to be filed based on the AMA packet against the prison officials as well. I have had to retain a lawyer in this matter and pursuant to the by-laws, the club is required to indemnify me of all legal actions and costs. To date, my fees have exceeded the club's assets. We will need to discuss this after the meeting tommorrow night assuming there are no challenges to any office up for election. Additionally, I think it only fair to make all aware that I will be at the court house tommorrow to file a few civil actions of my own and file for a "show cause" hearing and a counter claim as well. I have been advised that it is best not to speak of the specifics of the case as the person is a club member,so, anything I say or discussion had at a meeting is fair game. Given this,the AMA will need to be contacted as well to discuss a legal defense as well.

Regarding the elections, looks like there is no challenges but we will have to wait and see what happens tommorrow night. Any pre-election campaigning can be done on our discussion board as long as the thread is marked as such. I would strongly advise that any language like "the previouse board", "the previouse officers", or any mention of the sitting board in a negative light will be considered inflamatory remarks and I will use such comments in any future legal proceedings. In no way do I want this viewed as a threat, but given the litigiouse environment we now find ourselves, I think it best we do not add fuel to any current fires. Move forward, think positive and show respect.

Lastly, I have asked Shane to post my home address on any and all sites that contain any vailed threats as I am calling anyone out who is willing to threaten, or make threatening remarks. My opinion is simple, cowards make threats, and intelligent arguments and disagreements end where threats begin. If someone wants to threaten me, my answer is simple..Here I am!!! If you actually possess the intestinal fortitude to follow through with your remarks, than at least I can respect you for something..... The truth here is simple, those who speak behind others backs and threaten behind an internet name are weak, spineless cowards who are frustrated little boys who just don't have the balls to follow through with that which they spew from their mouths. Either follow through witht he threat and be a man or continue to hide and be the coward you are. Understand that this message is to anyone who thinks threats are a form of communication...Please do me the favor and make sure that anyone who wants to continue with the threats will be dealt with swiftly and personally if they have the balls to come out from the shadow and man up.

I am quite sure that by the nature of these people none will actually come forward, but I just want it out there that it is best I do not find out who is making the threats as I do not threaten..I follow through..

Best laugh I've had in weeks! I could care less about myself. If you honestly think I want to deal with you and your merry men accosting the membership for another year you're more of a comedian than I originally thought. There are more important things in my life, namely a widow and two small children. I'm incapable of feeling shame because I know I'm not who you say I am. You know I tried to reach out to Chane diplomatically and he and you folks turned your back because anything postive and diplomatic was against your strategy. Your childhood self would kick your butt for bringing lawyers and insults into model airplanes when you could have reached across and taken a more dignified approach.



Well sir, you will probably get what you want, but as always, I will protect the interest of the membership until I am through. There are some who feel you boys are railroading the election by taking advantage of empty seats and campaigning before official nominations are received. If your first order of business is an F-U to them, then so be it. Nice campaign.

The facts are the club has under this admin suffered public humiliation, because of the conduct of the officers in its almost 40 year history. A small group of people made them self’s god in the club and used their status as old members to intimidate new members. This year has been a total disaster in the club's auction, Scale contest, and overall running of the club. In fighting, hostile approach towards those who flew large airplanes. Fear mongering of losing the field because of noise as a tool. I could go on but let me just stop here

You know the people at the AMA are having migraines over this. It's time they make a little trip out and clean house for the majority of the club members that follow the rules, pay the dues, and don't run others off. I would certainly hope that the AMA won't just shut the club down because the original trouble makers don't satisfy their requests (when it seems they had no intention to do so in the first place).

Come on AMA... make us all proud... This is a national issue that has everyone's attention... Show us how you handle rogue officers that are operating against the wishes of the majority.
