Chris took some pics and a video. The video is nothing amazing. I am sure he will post them.
I am going to make it a bit more tail heavy and change adjust a few things. Overall it flew hands off with just a few clicks of trim and was very easy to manage. I put it though some hard moves on its first voyage and it held up just fine.

His Edge was super quiet with the 3 blade prop. You could only heard the sound of the air over the surfaces really.

Here are some snaps I got from the day of the maiden. I didn't get any flying photos as I had the video camera while he was flying. The plane flew great, and looked great in the air. I'll get the video up as soon as I get a chance to download it.

Thanks Chris! Chris has been a huge help I owe more plane wrenching time and chicken wings down the road.

I think I used a 3.5" spinner. Check the manual it states the correct size. I am going to order up a FG no limitz spinner and PAU prop. I would like to try a 22x8.

I know the snow hit up here in WA today and I don't think Jeff took his out. Jason took out his Su-26 in the snow though.

Sorry for the delays all! The Holidays creeped up along with some really bad weather that had Asheville shut down for a few days. I have a few adjustments I need to make and then take it out again.

Right now its in the teens up here and with wind chill factor colder. For me thats a bit too cold to go flying and enjoy it. The snow is falling right now looking outside my office.

Just a little moral support. The weather is the same here in Indiana. Even tho we are more used to it then you are in N.C. we hate it just as much as you do.
So get on Chris to post some video so we have something to do.

BTW, I got about 5 flights on her on Saturday, and I am loving this plane! It drew lots of nice comments from the field. I can't wait to get back out and fly again and get some more flying pics!

John???? hehe

Manny, how's your build coming? You've been awfully quiet lately!

I never thought I would actually take a break from flying during the winter but I might have to this year. This area is not really setup well to deal with the winters. I will recon the fields around here but honestly the backroads get nasty once the white stuff and ice hits.

It will give me a chance to wrench and tweak on the plane. During the maiden flights I had her about down on the deck. Very comfortable flyer.
