Default Need help w/futaba 7c 2.4 W/2 elevator servos

I have read the manual and just don't understand how to hook up the servos. I have a yak w/6 servos. I know how to hook the alerons Channels 1 and 6 , But how do you hook up the two elevator servos this is my first plane that uses 6 channels w/ two elevator servos. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks

Can't do it. You need a smartfly eq or a jr matchbox.

Actually, you definitely can do this. The 7C 2.4 version includes Ailvator mixing.

Plug your elevator servos into channel 2 and channel 5. Go the the ailvator mix page in the radio. Once there, turn the mix on, and for normal operation, set the elevator percentages to 100 and the aileron percentages to zero.

Hope this helps,

RJ

It works but one surface moves half the speed of the other. I contacted futaba when I was trying to do this.

Half the speed, or half the distance?

If it's distance, make sure your end points are set correctly. Obviously the linkages must be identical too. You should definitely not need to, but you might try making sure there is no switch set for channel 7 on the parameter page.

If it's actually moving a different speed, that's bizzarre. Sounds like a servo problem to me. Have you tried plugging them in to the aileron channels to see if they move the same speed then?

**EDIT: I didnt notice who posted that, so please disregard the questions, since you obviously have it working aleady.

Full speed , trimming of both elevators and all .

Yep ,
I too was surprised , even Baxter from Futaba support on RCUniverse told me it wasn't .
A friend of mine has a recent 7C and it works perfect , twin elevator (separete channels) servo's and 2 separate channel ailerons .
Why buy a high end 10 or more channel radio when only flying aerobatics ?
Greetings,
Bruno .

Use channel 2 and 5 then go to page 45 of the manual for the Ailevator function.

This is new with the 7C 2.4 radio.

I stand corrected. It does work with ch 2 and 5 on the 2.4 version. Sorry for the confusion
