Default 123's w/ eq10/ no regs?

Can I hook the 123's directly to the EQ10 PowerExpander without using regs? Any detrimental effects??? I'm using JR 8711 servos? Jitters???

Thanks for the responses!

Duh!!! Just read on the Smart Fly web site the 123's are ok with the eq10.

What about the high voltage jitters with a JR 8711? Any issues?

Only if the batts are fully charged you can sometimes get jitters ....Move the sticks a few times and your good to go

Hi Ron,

I have a jet with the same setup. I had jitter issues with the 8711. When I used a regulator in the way that solved the problem. So i switched to EQ6 with reg inside and all OK.
I guess that 8711 has issues with voltage over 6v.

Cheers
Ziv

I have been running unregulated A123's/8711's for over a year with no issues and am only now starting to see a slight jitter but the servos have 150+ flights on them. Many guys are running straight lipos to them with no issues as well.
