Default Region Code - TX RX

Guys my 8 channel rx that came with the new 10CHG got trashed in my last crash.A freind go the 10CHG for me from malaysia. Now I want to get a new Rx for my TX.I ahve two questions.

a) If I get a new Rx will there be any issues with regards to compatibility if I get the rx from a different region

b) I am getting a deal on the discontinued R608FS(Designed for 9C and 9Z systems). The one that came with in the box was the new R6008HS -High Speed. Will there be any compatibility issues flying a FS Rx with a Tx that was meant for the new HS recievers?

Pls help!

No problem at all.
There is no region coding with receivers, only certain high end Futaba transmitters have a region code.
There is no problem with using the older R608FS, the R6008HS you lost, had the ability to run in normal FS mode or the newer HS mode. Running the new receivers in HS mode requires the use of digital servos on channels 1-6 and only is a benefit in high performance helicopters.
