Video: 31% Extra + ZDZ80 Super = 3D Beast!
Got some video just messing around last weekend!
Stats: 31% Columbo Anderson Extra 300L ZDZ 80 Super w/ Pitts muffler turning a Vess 26a (under-propped) Hitec 5945's on Ailerons and elevator; 5955 on rudder AUW is around 21lbs It's way under-propped with the 26a. Anything over about half throttle and it just RIPS the prop and shatters ear drums. I really love the way this plane flies -- it tracks like it's on rails; very locked in, but it gets wild when commanded to do so.

Maybe you can show me how it's done tomorrow at the field?  I'll be maidening my 40% 260 tomorrow (if the weather clears up..). Hopefully my camera girl will tag along so I can get some video. |
