Hi guys, I'm back with a new project. I'm still looking for my match airplane regarding 3D capabilities and enough power to get me out of trouble quick... or to get in trouble even faster... I'll get back to you guys later on that one...
![]() Well, I found someone selling this baby local and thought to give it a try. Here's some pics I got from him when we started talking about this airplane... I aske him to weight the model so I could get a head start on the weight and here's what I came up with: Description Weight 90 Fuse with gear, canopy44 Wings (22oz each)10 Stabs and Wing joiner6 Misc60 Engine (DLE-55cc complete)15 Servos and extensions3.7 MPI Switch and RX1.4 Links2.8 Spinner4.2 Prop0.5 Misc19.8 Batteries (3x 6.6oz)257.4 oz 16.088 lbs

you'll like that plane just fine. it is a tremendous point roll plane due to the "Box Sides". good luck with it!

Well, I got it today mid afternoon. Got it home and took some pictures for my own use. And... I already started to work on it. Already did a couple of modifications but I'll show them tomorrow.
So far I love this airplane. Impressive the construction, the detail and I love the fiber-glass canopy, the huge cowling and the landing gear cover. Great details... ![]() Here's some more pictures: |

Very Cool bud. Can't wait to see it. For the price and being new, you can't beat. I think it's gonna be just fine. Get-ur-done!

I"ve been flying a smaller version of the Velox for a couple of seasons now and I love how they fly. Mine I fly with a YS110 on the nose, god I love that engine, but it does everything you ask and then some. Great flying airframe. I can't wait to get my hands on a 50cc size. You found a good one and I'll bet you will love it......................

No ARF's are on the horizon for us right now. We are not focusing on any 50cc kits (other than our Chipmunk that we will be looking at later this year) due to the fact that the cost is about the same as a 100cc kit. We would have to charge close to the same money then and we would be out of market when compared to everything else in this class. It would be hard to sell builders kits for more than the competition's ARF! There are so many great 50cc arfs on the market and we realize that. We want to stick with our niche and make sure we are providing the best airframe for the best value and that right now equals 100cc and bigger kits. Matt

Ok guys, as I say yesterday I already had drilled the firewall for my DLE-55, removed the above wood plate on the motor mount and opened a hole into the fuse. It didn't made any sense to be fully closed... it's much easier to work with the tail now.
This morning I coated the firewall, initially got the HD tail servos in but found out that they are too long to fit in the fuse so I got some Hi-Tec's there instead. Got one HD for the rudder installed and the tail proper screwed in. The kit came with some philips screws but I installed some hex cap screws with spring and flat washer. I'm planning on installing the fuel tank and then the engine. I'm going to have to create a throttle servo box on the firewall... I don't know yet but I'll find out. Thanks for looking and for your opinions guys.
