I think thats a Phantom strutbraced taperwing. They are good to +9 -6. They are about the strongest UL available.

Looks like fun. Yes, too low. Not a student, as the title of the video implies. Some aircraft of similar construction are rated for that level of Gs. My brother just sold one that was rated for +6, and -6 Gs.

I don't think it is, the tail boom is too low and cockpit is different. It looks like a Thruster to me and geez, I didn't think they were capable of doing that stuff!
