I dont fly JR but if I remember correctly go to 51 program mix on your radio then mix elevator and aux 1 which I think is 2 and 6 on the radio. Then basically go to the next page include the trim and then go out and make sure you turn off the switch so you don't accidentally hit it.
Again I don't fly JR but I think that should be pretty close.

About the only other thing I can think of is try a compenation mix from Ele to Gear. or turn on dual elevator mix and mix Aux3 to gear. Use the gear ch for the 2nd elevator and set travel from gear switch to zero.
Haven't tried it myself but this is what I would do. If that didn't work, I would put in an 8ch rx so I could use the dual elev mix. |

If you have an aux 3 ch in your RX then simply go to program 17 and on the right side of the screen is v-tail or duel elevator. Then all your adjustments are elevator and Aux 3. otherwise you can accomplish the same as above by using one of the 50series mixes to elev and (your spare aux channel).

He has a 6 channel RX... Aux 3 is channel 8.
Aux 1 is channel 6, and that is used for flaperon mixing (dual aileron servos) so you don't want to use that. You best bet is to mix to the gear channel (channel 5), assuming you don't need it. Go to function 17 and INH the gear channel... this keeps the switch from changing things. Go to function 51, or some other mix. Hit 3 first, then 5 (selects AIL -> GEAR) Turn Mix values up to 100%. If the elevator half moves in the wrong direction, you can either change the percentages to minus 100%, or you can just use the servo reversing page... your choice. I prefer the servo reversing so you don't accidentally mess it up if you access the mix page to adjust something. Hit PAGE and make sure everything is on P0 (keeps things from changing with flight modes) Hit PAGE again, select INCL (include mixing... makes it so that if you later mix Rudder to elevator, or some other mix, that both halves will be affected), and turn the TRIM function on (makes it so if you use your trim lever, both halves will move). If the geometry of your linkages isn't perfect, you can use mix 56-58 (curved mixes) instead of 51-55 to make sure both halves track together throughout the range... handy feature. Hope this helps... I'll try it on my radio when I get home to make sure I didn't feed you any bad gen. |

I downloaded the manual on my computer at work when I shopping for the radio... I alerady had it sitting there. I also use the 10X for lots of different types of planes... programmed a 35% a month ago.
Another neat trick... use the flap lever on the left side of the radio to control the choke servo... zero chance of ever hitting it in flight (like I did one when I had it on a switch), and much easier and faster to get to if you need it than those friggen knobs. Can't remember how I did that... I'll have to look and see if anyone is interested. |

Channel 9. I use it because Ch 9 and Ch 10 have reduced resolution... don't need the res for the choke. I run 9ch RXs, so 10 isn't available.
