Default any one built a bud nosen jenny?

i am about to acquire a partially started bud nosen jenny from my dad. my question is has any one built one? i know it is a vintage kit but i figured i would ask. the wing span will be 98 inches i believe and should weigh in the naibor hood of 15 lbs. as far as power goes i was thinking of a dle 30 what do you think. any info on the kit would be greatly apreciated

I don't know about the airframe but the DLE-30 is a perfect choice. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.

The Jenny is ancient history but a great flyer. What little is started, I would reglue the joints. Other than that, The DLE30 is going to be a great choice for that airframe. I had one years ago and it was a smooth, slow flyer. With the long wings and the relatively short fuse, you could really get a flat spin going fast and it would just float down. I think you'll like it!

thanks for the info i will be getting the plane in november. the fuse has been started but that is all it should be a fun project. i plan to fabric cover it and modd the wings so that i dont have to cart around a 96 inch wing
