There was sapose to be some yellow trim but they forgot it. So the yellow and red will not have solid red wings.

Is there a waiting list to sign up for one? I was looking at the extreme flight but this is different.

Only a limited amount of airplanes arriving. So, first come first serve. Send me an email and I will put you on the list. Prices are unknow but will be affordable and resonable for the size of plane. You can always cancel when they arrive.

Just sent my email in to be put on the list for a 50cc! I have been seriously considering the PAU Sukhoi, until I stumbled across this thread (absolutely nothing wrong with that plane, but I've been waiting for one of these!). I've been searching for a nice Yak-55M (NOT SP) for a while now. I'd like to see more pics, some video, and more info like wing area. Subscribed.......excited............ and drooling!

Components are trickling in and the engine should be here tomorrow! Maybe, just maybe, I will get the engine mounted tomorrow and will post pics.

![]() So I put down my dosequis amber, grabbed a Landshark lager, put it down, then downed a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and proceeded to get a little bit done... Finally got my engine so I decided to mount it. I have a DA-100 template I made a while back so I put it to use. I just extended the lazer-etched lines to line it up.

I decided to use hardwood dowel for the standoffs. These are 2-3/8" and will put the back of the spinner about 1-1/8" forward of the face of the cowl. This will increase thrust and will also help with CG. There are two of these flying already and both needed their batteries up front to balance and they are running heavier batteries, but one of them has the spinner backplate only about 1/4" in front of the cowl. The batteries I am running are half their weight so I think I will need all the help I can get.

Engine mounted. Simple enough. I decided not to do anything crazy like safety-wiring like I usually do. I just used loctite and will put a bead of RTV around the bolt heads. This will keep them from backing out or loosening.

I also put the Yak 'on its feet'. That's about it for now...I have hard time getting motivated until I have everything I need and I am still waiting on servos and some other stuff. I am hoping to have this thing flying in a couple weeks tho.
