50-52 ounces is really all you need, but there are several bottles out there in the 60-64 ounce range. It doesn't have to be Fiji. And any 'stronger than others' plastic bottle will work.

I like to go larger on the fuel tanks as i fly long flights (~20 min). When I practice the imac I fly 4 plus sequences per flight. Oh my engine is a DA170 so ill have more fuel draw than a 150.

What do you think about putting a DA85 in one of these. They seem to make the same amount of power and less weight ?

Probably too light of an engine. The two flying have both needed their dual 5200's and ignition battery up in the nose to balance. If you were determined to run one you could extend the engine even further forward(like 1-5/8" space between the prop and cowl) and make beams to mount to the engine box that put the batteries as far forward as possible(like just behind the back of the cowl), and go with a CF tailwheel(the stock one is nice, but almost 3 ounces, whereas a CF one can be obtained for a little over an ounce).

Looks good. What size spinner did you use?

The spinner is 3 1/4". Somewhat scratched up from an encounter with a fence.

I heard they had a shortage of the scratched spinners you may have yo get one and scratch it your self, I think i saw a thread explaining how to do it some where.

By my measurements it looks like about a 30mm drop header for the DA 100.

I have no idea the header drop yet, havent even seen a plane yet . If it is anything like the 275cc yak, you will want a very short header drop, probabbly the shortes they make.
